- The VA Consolidated Contracting Activity at Palo Alto is soliciting proposals for Readjustment counseling for the VA Veteran Center, Sacramento, CA. Place of Performance is within the County of Nevada. Counseling services will be for the individual, Group, and/or Couple/Family. Contract readjustment counseling includes the same mix of social and psychological services provided at Vet Centers with the exception of community outreach. The purpose of the contracts program is for the provision of readjustment counseling and not for general mental health services. Contract readjustment counseling may include social services and/or psychotherapy, but the services must address readjustment derived from Military duties and/or homecoming experieneces. The provision of services for problems not having a clear and distinct relationship to military duty and readjustment to civilian life from military duty is not authorized. The contract is for a base year and two one-year options. This is a commercial items contract and is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. NAICS Code is 624310. Size Standard is $50 million.
