- Description
- The U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is interested in procuring the services of one 8(a) contractor to perform technical support for the Resident Assessment Subsystem (RASS). The contract requirements are as stated, but not limited to the following: prepare, revise, and maintain information strategy plans; analyze business strategies and requirements, organization, current technical environments, business information needs and priorities and current planned systems; and developing information architecture, business requirements, future organizational structure, technical architecture, and business system architecture; conduct research, develop cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, and feasibility studies in support of the IT planning function; develop and facilitate the re-engineering of HUD business processes using Business Process Reengineering (BPR), Rapid Application Development (RAD), Rapid Application Prototyping (RAP) and Joint Requirements Planning (JRP); provide support in emerging technologies; develop, confirm and maintain logical models representing business requirements; provide necessary technical and user training support required for systems maintenance, testing, operations and usage; management support, systems development, system testing, system operation, system maintenance, and software technical support. This solicitation is competitive, with an initial performance period of one year with 2 one-year option periods and is open to all interested 8(a) vendors under NAIC 541519. All interested 8(a) firms under NAICs 541519 are encourage to submit a proposal.
