- Description
- The Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to award sole source procurement to Digital Solutions, Fujitsu Technology Solutions, 1250 E Arques Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94088. CBP has a requirement for regular maintenance on Fujitsu hardware that is vital to mission critical applications (ATS, EDW, VMS, and SAP). Fujitsu is the only known vendor authorized to provider maintenance service for Fujitsu servers. In accordance with FAR 6.301 ?Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements?, CBP has determined Fujitsu to be the only firm capable of satisfying the requirements stated above. This notice is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation for offers. However, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting all the requirements stated herein may submit written qualifications, which if received within 5 calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. Interested firms shall provide detailed information outlining their capabilities ? any response failing to provide the aforementioned data will be disregarded. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
