- Description
- This is a solicitation for commercial moving services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation will be issued via SF 1449. Solicitation number FA3300-05-T-0016 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The 42d Contracting Squadron/LGCA, Maxwell AFB, AL is requesting this requirement set-aside with a Small Business Set-Aside. The following services are required: (1) Furniture and office equipment to be placed in storage shall be in an approved commercial climate controlled storage facility. (2) Furniture and office equipment to be moved from building 1406, MAFB, AL to other designated building on Maxwell and Gunter Annex. (3) If you anticipate on submitting a quote, you must be present at the site. Site Visit date is Friday 1 Apr 05, at 0900, in building 1406, Maxwell AFB, Al. NOTE: Job is timely, pick-up dates for the move are 6-11 Jun 2005 and delivery dates are 5-10 Dec 2005. To ensure timely and equitable evaluation of quotes, scheduled contractors must comply with the instructions contained herein. Quotes must be complete, self-sufficient, and respond directly to the requirement of the Request for Quote (RFQ). The anticipated period of performance is 6-11 Jun 2005-5-10 Dec 2005. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 484210. The Size Standard Industrial Classification is 4214. The Small Business Size Standard is $21.5 Million annually.
