- (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation of Purchase Request FB500042880255 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-01. (iv) This acquisition is for a full and open competition. (v & vi) CLIN 0001, 41,423 gallons of Aviator?s Breathing Oxygen, 99.5% minimum, Assay to bulk oxygen NSN 6830-00-808-9531. To be delivered on an as needed basis in quantities of approximately 4,500 gallons (vii) Items to be delivered as needed. Acceptance will be FOB destination to Base Supply Receiving, 5256 GibsonAve, Elmendorf AFB, AK 99518, Attn: SrA Jacla. (viii) FAR clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items, is not applicable. (x) Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with the quote. Offerors must also include a completed copy of the provision at DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation. (xi) FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
