- The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) Audie L. Murphy Division requires the procurement of the B. Braun Vena Tech IVC Filter System. The Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital, San Antonio, TX, proposes to negotiate and award a sole source consignment contract to B. Braun Medical, Incorporated, for the dual approach Vena Tech IVC Filer System #31335-40DLP. Contract will be from date of award to September 30, 2005, with two-one year renewal options. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 13.501(a)(2)(I), test program, using simplified acquisition procedures and Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The NAICS Code for this procurement is a 339112 and 500 employees. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements must give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 10 days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Determination whether to conduct a competitive procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. All responses must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m., CST, April 06, 2005.
