Description

In accordance with OMB Circular A-76 (Revised May 29, 2003) The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is publicly announcing the start of a Streamline Competition for Medical/Dental Equipment, Biomedical Engineer and Repair of Other Equipment, Clinical Center. The Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) is Dr. Ed Sontag, Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management, Department of Health and Human Services. The Contracting Officers (CO) are Patricia Pemberton and Lisa Schneider. The projected end date of the Competition is August 9, 2005. The functions at NIH include but are not limited to Service of Medical/Dental Laboratory equipment and research project computers, provide customer and other equipment services. These services, are currently provided by thirty-two Federal Government employees. NIH will issue another notice to announce the decision of the cost comparison on or about August 12, 2005. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME.
