- The USDA Forest Service, Region 5 (California) has a requirement for a firm to provide a study of the effects of tree canopy on the Spotted Owl. Selection of a firm or individual and subsequent award will be based on best value, price and other factors considered. In order to respond, interested firms or individuals must locate this solicitation in www.FedBizOpps.gov and refer to Solicitation No. R5-02-20-028 within FedBizOpps. Complete and respond to information requested in the solicitation and to evaluation factors within the statement of work. Also, in www.FedBizOpps.gov is a two page attachment to this statement of work. The closing date for submission of proposals is no later than noon (local time), on April 18, 2005. Submit your proposal along with the completed solicitation to: Forest Service, Attn. Don Bandur, 1323 Club Drive, Vallejo, CA. 94592. Reference Solicitation No. R5-02-20-028 on your envelope.
