- Description
- The United State Special Operation Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract to Rockwell Collins, Inc. 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498 for 9 each Control Display and Navigation Units(CDNUs), Part Number: 822-0948-001. The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government does not own specification and drawing to permit full and open competition. The items will be purchased under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1 (a) (2) (iii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Needs. This acquisition will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial items. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date, in accordance with FAR 5.203 (a)). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The anticipated award date of 15 April 2005. FOB: Destination, Desired delivery is 6 months after receipt of order. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. See numbered note 22.
