Description
Bureau of Indian Affairs Fort Hall Irrigation, and Flathead Irrigation Projects combined Synopsis/Solicitation, Commercial Services ??? CHEMICAL HERBICIDE FOR IRRIGATION CANALS. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number RMP00050013 is a request for quote (RFQ). The closing date for receiving quotes is 04/14/05 end of business day. This request for quote is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered. By authority in FAR 52.212.02 award will be made to the lowest responsive quote. This RFQ(request for quote) is for brand name or equal in accordance with (FAR 11.104). Substitute brands may be provided if they perform the same function. Product equal to Brand Name must be accompanied with verifiable references. All products considered shall be registered with the EPA and licensed to be used in Idaho and Montana. This RFQ is for 6 skids (2,450 lbs per skid), and 5 cylinders (370 lbs per cylinder) of Magnacide H or product that is equal to brand name. Brand Name: Magnacide H, Salient Characteristics are: Rapidly degrades leaving no residue, does not bind or stay in soil as a result there is no build up, reacts through hydration which decreases toxicity, aquatic pond weeds & algae begins to break down within hours after application, application extends 8-10 miles (application is not labor intensive). Delivery address and delivery dates as follows: Fort Hall Agency, Bannock Ave Bld#2, Fort Hall ID 83203-0220. Fort Hall delivery schedule: 2 skids on 05/16/05, 2 skids on 06/27/05, and 2 skids on 07/25/05, 5 cylinders (1 cylinder 370lbs). All skids for Fort Hall Irrigation to be delivered within a 10 day deliver window on or before the delivery dates listed above. BIA-Flathead Agency-Irrigation, Ninepipe Division, 4969 Piedalue Road, Charlo, MT 59824, Flathead Irrigation delivery schedule 5 cylinders on or before 06/01/05. Each site will have an assigned COR (Contract Officers Representative), they shall be contacted before delivery (COR to be assigned). The following FAR clauses are applicable and this synopsis/solicitation incorporates all provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC #2001-27). FAR 52.222-22 Previous Contracts and Compliance (FEB 1999) The offeror represents that-(a) It _has, _has not participated in a previous contract or subcontract or subcontract subject to the Equal Opportunity clause of this solicitation; (b) It _has, _has not, filed all required compliance reports; and (c) Representations indicating submission of required compliance reports, signed by proposed subcontractors, will be obtained before subcontract awards. (end of provision) FAR 52.222-25 AFFIRMATIVE ACTIONS COMPLIANCE (APR 1984) The offeror represents that (a) it _ has developed and has on file, _ has not developed and does not have on file, at each establishment, affirmative action program required by the rules and regulations of the Secretary of Labor (41 CFR 60-1 and 60-2), or (b) it _ has not previously had programs requirement of the rules and regulations of the Secretary of Labor. Vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration website in order to be awarded contracts from the Department of Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs FAR 52.204-07 (Central Contractor Registration).
