Description
This amendment is issued to the original combined synopsis/solicitation to provide questions and answers submitted during the site visit performed on 22 March 2005. Proposals are due on 6 April 2005. Interested offerors intending on submitting a pr oposal may now contact the contract specialist, Jamie Kiser at jamie.kiser@amedd.army.mil to schedule an oral presentation. Offerors are advised that the Government reserves the right to cancel an offeror's oral presentation if, after an initial review of the offeror's written proposal who fails to adequately address the requirement of the solicitation. Questions and answers are as follows:Questions pertaining to site visit:1. Is an AutoCAD version of the plan for the trailer available? Answer: No; 2. W ill there be any change in the amount or types of printers, phones, faxes, computers or copies? Answer: No; 3. Should we provide a cable drop to the conference room? Answer: Provide a voice and at least one, preferably 2 data (network) connections; 4. Phone and cable drop required for the break room? Answer: No.; 5. Which printers, faxes and copies are networked? Should we provide drops for these? Answer: All are networked. Provide patch cables for PC workstations and printers. 6. Who is moving t he printers,f axes, computers and copiers? Who is making the connections? Answer: USAMRAA; 7. Any break room furniture required? If not, bringing existing? Should we provide price to move Answer: No to all answers.; 8. Are we to plan to move anyth ing other than boxes? Answer: No; 9. Who is providing boxes? Answer: Contractor 10. Does the exterior door in the largest private office need to remain unblocked? Answer: Yes; 11. What is the closet for in the center of the space? Answer: Storag e; 12. Is there a desired color scheme In order to consider the paint and carpet in the trailer, we require samples or at least the names of each so we can obtain samples. Answer: Contractor shall propose color scheme. No painting or capeting is sch eduled or required; 13. Which door will be used as the main entrance? Answer: The door on the North side of the building, closest to the conference room through which we entered on the site visit, would be our main entrance.; 14. Will other doors be use d regulary? Answer: Yes The following are some questions that came up as we were reviewing the RFP.;15. Do Supervisors / Contract Officers / Contract Specialists require accommodation for desktop pc or do they primarily use laptops? Answer: Primarily PCs; 16. Is providing power to the workstations in the bull pen part of this space or will the electrical be bid separately.; 17. Will floor plan be available from architect/ Engineer in electronic format, i.e. AutoCAD? Answer: No; 18. Will progress invoices be allowed? Answer: N o; 19. Are any of the A/V items for the conference room be included in our bid? Projection screen, projector mounting assembly, or equipment rack for example. Answer: No; 20. Is contractor responsible for unpacking boxes under section E, moving and clea ning? Answer: No; 21. How many boxes are anticipated? Answer: Estimated 200 (5 boxes x 39 employees); 22. Would you prefer design and installation as separate line items or grouped together under the category Labor Answer: Propose in accordance with t he Contract Line Item Numbers stated in the combined synopsis/solicitation; 22. Will you be compiling a list of questions from all your bidders and publishing the answers for general distribution? Answer: An amendment to the synopsis/solicitation will be issued to FedBizOpss; 23. How will you be distributing the answers? Answer: See 9. above.
