Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command intends to modify existing contract DAAH23-03-D-0040 with Honeywell International, Defense and Space, Tempe, Arizona (CAGE 99193) for the acquisi tion of NSN 2840-01-458-6168, NOZZLE, TURBINE, P/N 2-141-150-18, 300 each, applicable to the T55 series engine. This part has been designated as sole source. FOB Point for all orders placed will be Origin. Period of performance will be from date of cont ract award through 30 September 2007. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not have adequate specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CASL or SAR information. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
