- The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) Audie L. Murphy Division has a requirement for the Abbott Vascular Devices Xceed, Xpert, and Wavemax Stents. The Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital, San Antonio, TX, proposes to negotiate and award a sole source consignment contract to Abbott Vascular, Inc. Contract will be from date of award to September 30, 2005, with two-one year renewal options. Abbott Vascular, Incorporated, is to provide a variety of the following Stents; Wavemax expandable 7mmx28x75cm, 8mmx28x75cm, 7mmx38x75mm, and 8mmx38x75cm; Xceed self expanding 5mmx40mmx80cm, 5mmx60mmx80cm, 6mmx40mmx80cm, 6mmx60mmx80cm, 6mmx80mm, 80cm, 6mmx60mmx120cm, 8mmx60mmx80cm, 8mmx80mmx80cm, 6mmx60mmx120cm, 8mmx60mmx80cm, 8mmx80mmx80cm, and 8mmx30mmx120cm; Expert self expanding 5mmx40mmx80cm, 5mmx30x120cm, 6mmx30mmx80cm, 6mmx40x80cm, 6mmx60mmx80cm, 6mmx60mmx120cm, 8mmx40mmx80cm, 8mmx60mmx80cm, 8mmx40mmx120cm, and 8mmx60mmx120cm. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 13.501(a)(2)(I), test program, using simplified acquisition procedures and Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The NAICS Code for this procurement is a 423450 and 500 employees. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements must give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 10 days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Determination whether to conduct a competitive procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. All responses must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m., CST, April 6, 2005.
