Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for a contractor to provide one to fifteen personnel in various locations/various times within the continental United States (US). These personnel are required to assist the Government Evaluation Team in the data-gathering phase by performing data recorders/analysts functions. Requirements are defined further in the Statement of Work (SOW) included in this announcement. Vendors must have a facility located within a 50-mile radius of the MMAC at time of this announcement. This limited geographical requirement is based on the ability of the contractor, upon each requirement, to coordinate in person with the program manager in a timely manner. Vendors shall submit a description of their capability in the following areas: (1) Past Performance - vendor must have experience providing these types of services and vendor shall provide a list of contracts to substantiate their performance. (2) Capability - vendor shall describe in narrative form how they propose to provide personnel that can perform these services throughout various locations/various times in the continental United States. Note: At this time the FAA does not know exact location or number of evaluations that will be performed. The FAA anticipates awarding an Indefinite-Delivery/Requirements type contract with time-and-material provisions. The contract has a potential duration of five (5) years including a base year with four (4) 1-year options to be exercised at the sole discretion of the government. Narrative documentation is limited to a maximum of five pages. All documentation required in the previous paragraphs must be provided, along with a name and telephone number of a point of contact, to the following address: FAA/MMAC, P.O. Box 25082, Oklahoma City, OK 73125, Attn: Joy Dickson, AMQ-210, with reference made to File 05-01418, by April 8, 2005. Facsimiles will be accepted at 405-954-9219. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing responses to this request for information. Any proprietary information should be so marked. This request for information shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the FAA to acquire these services. Responders to this request for information may be based to provide additional details/information based on their initial submittal.
