The Naval Undersea Warfare Center - Keyport intends to solicit for the manufacture of the following items in the quantities indicated: Case, part number PESK-5147, quantity 380; Mounting Plate, part number PESK-5178, quantity 380; Case, drawing number PESK-5182, quantity 565; EMI gasket, drawing number PESK-5198, quantity 1,035; EMI gasket, drawing number PESK-5199, quantity 400; EMI gasket, drawing number PESK-5208, quantity 590; EMI gasket, drawing number PESK-5209, quantity 395; EMI gasket, drawing number PESK-5240, quantity 590. The manufacture of these items consists of machining metal, sheet metal fabrication and stamping out gaskets. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 332999 with a size standard of 500 employees. Delivery requirements vary based on the complexity and quantities of the items. FOB Destination - Naval Undersea Warfare Center - Keyport, 610 Dowell Street, Keyport, WA 98345-7610. FOB Destination: Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division! Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345. Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. It is anticipated that the solicitation, N00253-05-R-0018, will be issued o/a 8 April 2005. The closing date of the solicitation is anticipated to be o/a 9 May 2005. This requirement will be procured under FAR Part 15 negotiated acquisition procedures utilizing best value evaluation of offers. When issued, the RFQ will be posted electronically on the NUWC Division Keyport, Acquisition Division website (http://kpt-eco.kpt.nuwc.navy.mil). Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted; however, e-mail requests for the drawing packages will be accepted at BrittonJF@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the ! electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. After downloading the solicitation, firms interested in submitting quotes must: (1) complete the pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the solicitation, (3) identify manufacturer information of proposed items and (4) ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov/).
