- Description
- The US Army, Office of the Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems anticipates soliciting under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, sole source requirement with Alliant Techsystems, located at 9700 Nathan Lane, Plymouth, MN 55442-2512. This will be a firm fixed price requirement to increase the quantity of Limited Rate Production of the 105mm Canister Cartridge from 1800 each to 3200 each. This is to be used in the Mobile Gun System (MGS). The cartridge will provide the MGS a low cost anti-personnel capability against dismounted infantry. The cartridge will be compatible with the M68A1E4 rifled gun and MGS autoloader. The cartridge shall not exceed 55 pounds in total weight and to be fuzeless. Any interested party should submit information/qualifications to US Army TACOM-Picatinny, Joyce Tambini, Bldg. 9, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000. Information submitted should include organization, personnel, facilities, and past experience. All information must be received no later than 07 April 2005. This is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. The Government will not pay for any information submitted under this announcement.
