- Description
- The Fort Polk Directorate of Contracting intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) service contract for sport officials to officiate adult and youth sports activities; boxing, basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball, football, t-ball, baseball, tae kwon do, etc. The contractor is expected to furnish all personnel, training, supervision, transportation and other items or services required to officiate adult and youth sports. All officials shall be certified by the National Governing Body of the Sport . This procurement is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition and is set aside for 100% Total Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 713990. The period of performance will be for a 12-month base period plus three additional 12-month option periods. To be eligible for contract award, agency must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the DoD Elec tronic Commerce Information Center at 888-227-2423. All qualified responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors must conform to the request for bid instructions and bids must be received by the closing date sp ecified in the request for bid. The anticipated release date is on or about 12 April 2005 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about 28 April 2005. The firm date for receipt of offers will be stated in the solicitation. Any questions concerning t he solicitation are to be submitted in writing NLT 21 April 2005. The solicitation will be posted on the Fort Polk Directorate of Contracting web site at http://www.jrtc-polk.army.mil/DOC/index/htm in electronic format. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the site for release of solicitation and amendments (if any).
