- Air Freight Terminal upgrades at Travis Air Force Base, CA which include: new 463L pallet staging docks to interface with existing elevating transfer vehicles, 463L pallet rotators to interface with existing staging docks and elevating transfer vehicles, pre-pack dock with in-line scale and pallet lift, multi-pallet conveyors to interface with existing transfer vehicles, and replacement of an existing 35-ton overhead crane (on an option basis) plus spare parts. This requirement also includes classroom and hands- on instruction for government personnel. Note: Offerors must be able to document experience within the past 5 years of providing/installing the equipment specified and to perform the work necessary in the areas of design, software development and modification, PLC programming and modification, for 463L pallet staging conveyor and interface with elevating transfer vehicles systems. Pre-Proposal Conference: There will be a pre-proposal conference held at Travis AFB, CA approximately 3 weeks after the Request for Proposal is issued. Details will be included in the Request for Proposal when it is issued approximately 15 days from the date of this listing. This acquisition will be a full and open competition using commercial procedures. NAICS Code is 333999. Size standard is 500 employees. We will utilize the best value technique of Price Performance Trade-Off (PPT) to make a best value award decision. Please note that e-mail and fax proposals are not permitted.
