Description

The Air Force Medical Logistics Office/Veterans Affairs Special Services intends to award on a sole source basis a firm fixed price contract to Advance Medical Optics to provide 1 ea AMO Sovereign Compact Console & System (portable phacoemulsification system) for Lackland Air Force Base, TX. The proposed action is in accordance with the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Other Than Full and Open Competition. Market research reveals this is the only portable machine on the market. Interested parties may identify there interest and capability by responding to this announcement with their capabilities and specification. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be issued.
