- This solicitation proposal submittal due date is changed from April 12, 2005 to April 22, 2005. All else as announced remains the same. The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service will be soliciting for proposals from contractors for rehabilitation of a 200,000 gallon welded steel water storage tank. Contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, supplies, equipment and supervision for the tank rehab project. Performance of work shall include design and replacement and/or installation of the water tank accessories. The SOW includes installation of a new roof vent, new roof hatch, exterior ladder and cage, top manway handrails, interior ladder, two shell manholes, water level indicator; tank interior and exterior surface preparation and painting; and tank disinfection. The anticipated contract will be a firm fixed price contract. Project completion time will be 120 calendar days from NTP date. The estimated price range is between $35,000 to $100,000. The Buy American Act shall apply. Indian Preference in hiring, for suppliers and subcontractors shall apply. NAICS code is 238990. Contractors shall submit both technical and price proposals. Proposals will be evaluated using source selection evaluation factors. All questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer via e-mail or fax.
