Item 0001 NSN 2840-01-146-5736JF P/N: 9530M24G06, Titanium alloy AMS 4954 Filler mat’l, 17.360 min. in. 17.370 max. in. OD, 15.447 min in. 15.451 max. in. 7.485 min in. 7.515 max in. wide, .310 in. dia of 17 holes eq .275 in dia of 33 holes based on34 holes eq. Sp, F101GE102 engine, B1B acft. Destination: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: starting JAN 2006 at 16 ea monthly. A quantity between 9 ea and 48 ea will be acquired. The actual quantity will be determined at the time of award at this time the Government’s BEQ is 38 ea. The anticipated quantity ranges for pricing purposes to be solicited are: (9-24 ea) (25-37 ea) and (38-48 ea). First Article Government testing will be required for qualified sources not producing the item within the last 36 months. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. The approximate issue date will be 10 Nov 04. The approximate response date will be 10 Dec 04. The anticipate award date is 31 Jan 05. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. Pre-qualified sources: Tool Sales and Services, Cincinnati, OH 45215, and Union Machine Co, Groveland Ma. 01834. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed request received directly from the requester is acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which if timely shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
