- Naval Construction Battalion Center is planning the installation of collateral equipment and furnishings as required for NAS Sigonella, MWR Complex, Catania (Port Entry) Sicily, Italy. The installation must be performed by an approved Vendor with prior experience working for the U. S. Government on Overseas Bases and have knowledge of the Labor Laws in Italy. Vendor must use experienced supervisory personnel throughout the course of the installation. Vendor should have written approval from equipment manufacturers to install equipment so that warranties are not lost. Installation is planned to take place on May 2, 2005 through ________________. The Government may adjust the actual date of installation by written notice up to 45 days in advance of the planned installation. The bid submitted by the vendor must be broken down separately identifying the cost of labor and expenses for installation. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by identifying themselves and giving written notification to the Contracting Officer within fifteen (15) calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A detailed list of material and statement of work can be provided for any parties that want to provide installation services proposals and should fax/e-mail request. All contractors that request a copy of this quotation MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Further information may be obtained through the Internet at www.acq.osd.mil/ec/fags, or contact CCR Registration Assistance Center at 1-888-227-2423 and request the registration form and assistance packet for completion. The Internet site for registering in the CCR is http://www.ccr.dlis.dls.mil The final determination by the Government to contract these services, based on any information provided, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining the best value for the Government.
