Description

The Government intends to enter into a sole source contract with DynCorp Technical Services for Logistics Support Services for Fort Hood, for a 6-month interim period of 1 July 2005 through 31 December 2005. This interim measure is being taken to p revent lapse in contract service, while the follow-on to existing Contract DAKF15-99-C-0005 is being solicited on a Competitive basis. Logistics Support Services include, but are not limited to, maintenance of Rotary Wing Aircraft; operation of a Central Issue Facility with Tent and Textile Repair; and operation of the Ammunition Supply Point. The contractor shall provide these services for units, activities, and installations assigned to III Corps and Fort Hood, including Army, Air Force, Reserves, Nat ional Guard and Department of Army Civilian workforce located in the AR 5-9 support area or other sites throughout the United States. The Contractor shall support units and provide services at U.S. Army Airfields and Heliports, unit locations, training sit es, and staging areas on and off Fort Hood, Texas, ports of embarkation, recovery sites for emergency repair anywhere within CONUS and OCONUS when approved by the Contracting Officer. The contract type will be Cost Plus Award Fee, NAICS 561210 and SIC 8744 . The Government anticipates issuing the RFP W91151-05-R-0005 o/a 1 April 2005 under sole source procedures.
