- Description
- The ACC HQ Contracted Advisory and Assistance Services III (CAAS III) Industry Day will be held on 4 April 2005, at Point Plaza Suites and Conference Hotel; 950 J. Clyde Morris Blvd; Newport News, VA 23601. If you would like to stay at the Point Plaza reservations can be made at 1-800-841-1112. Point Plaza is offering approximately 25 rooms at a special rate though 28 March 2005, just mention you are part of the CAAS III Industry Day. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m (0800 hrs). The conference will start at approximately 9:00 a.m. (0900 hrs). Attendance is not required to submit a future proposal on the CAAS III contract but is encouraged to provide an exchange with industry on the ACC HQ CAAS III contract effort. Following the morning session each offeror or team of offerors will be allotted 15 minutes for individual discussion/questions with the government. We ask that you use this time to discuss contracting and program issues and not as a marketing forum. Appointments for one-on-one?s are on a first come first served basis at the registration desk. Appointments will be scheduled from 1:00 p.m (1300 hrs) to 5:00 pm (1700 hrs). To help facilitate out of town companies, they will be scheduled for the afternoon session first followed by local companies. If additional time is needed to accommodate one-on-ones they will be held on 5 April 2005 at 9:00 a.m (0900 hrs), at SunTrust Building 11817 Canon Blvd; Newport News, VA 23606; the third floor conference room (Rm. 302B). Attached is a draft Request For Proposal (RFP), current redacted copy of the CAAS II contract, and Task Orders that have been awarded under CAAS II for your review. This information is provided to assist in opening lines of communication and inform industry of the vast scope of work competed previously under CAAS. As a reminder this is a DRAFT RFP; no offers will be accepted from this RFP.
