Description

DESCRIPTION THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS AND THE TEMPORARY EMERGENCY PROCUREMENT AND THE HOMELAND SECURITY AUTHORITIES - AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The Solicitation Number is FA4890-05-R-0154 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2001-13) are incorporated. This requirement is Full and Open Competition. However any holders of GSA Schedules who can fulfill this requirement should submit proposals. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334220 with a small business size standard of 750 employees however, this RFQ is unrestricted. It is the intent of this solicitation to result in a firm fixed price contract. The government will select the lowest-price, technically acceptable offer that conforms to the requirements of the solicitation for consideration of award under this solicitation. ACC Contracting Squadron, LAFB, VA has a requirement for Motorola equipment to include L99DX Land Mobile Radios, L3216 ? MC2000 ADV Tone Desksets, L3217 ? MC2500 Multi-Channel Desksets, Astro Spectra Mobile Upgrade Kits, and XTS5000 Upgrades, or equal as indicated below. All specifications must be met. All equipment must meet or exceed the APCO Project 25 conventional and trunking standards. Equipment offered must operate in Legacy Trunking Systems. Equipment offered must operate in frequency bands as detailed below. Offerors must quote on all items.
