Description
A proposal conference will be held with prospective offerors at SA-20 on March 29, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. SA-20 is located at 1801 N. Lynn Street, Rosslyn, Virginia 22091. The pre-proposal conference will be held for the purpose of providing information concerning the Government?s requirements which may be helpful in the preparation of proposals and for answering any questions regarding this solicitation. Attendance at the pre-proposal conference is recommended; however, attendance is not a prerequisite for proposal submission and will not be considered a factor in proposal evaluation. The success of the conference depends on the leadtime available to the government for research in connection with questions submitted by prospective offerors. Therefore, you are requested to e-mail all written questions concerning any areas of uncertainty which, in your opinion, require clarification or correction, by 2:30 p.m. March 25, 2005. A set of questions and answers will be furnished to all prospective offerors whether or not they are in attendance at the conference and will be posted in FEDBIZOPPS and the Statebuy website. Due to space limitations, each prospective offeror will be limited to a total of two representatives. Prospective offerors shall notify Deborah Carey by e-mail to CareyDA@state.gov by 5:00 p.m. March 25, 2005 if they plan to attend the pre-proposal conference. The e-mail shall specify the names of attendees, work phone number, e-mail address, work and home address of those attending the conference. (The home address is required for security screening purposes by Diplomatic Security guards.) The pre-proposal conference will include a tour of the call center and the unclassified server room of SA-20. All attendees must be U.S. citizens in order to tour the unclassified server room. For security screening purposes all representatives attending the conference must be U.S. citizens. All attendees will be required to bring a state or federal issued picture identification. No cameras and/or recording devices will be allowed at the pre-proposal conference. Please allow plenty of time prior to the start of the conference for gaining access to SA-20 due to access procedures into the building. Due to projected interest in the pre-proposal conference, multiple sessions may be held, starting at 9:00 a.m. and at regular intervals during the day. Vendors will be notified via e-mail as to which group they are assigned once it is determined how many will be in attendance.
