- Description
- The intent of the project is to provide service for septic pumping of the vault toilet facilities located in the Crystal Basin Recreation Area, as well as along the Hwy 50 corridor from Indian Springs Picnic Area to Pyramid Creek Trailhead. Crystal Basin Recreation Area is located 10 miles east of Pollock Pines, north on Hwy 50. Individual campgrounds are off Ice House Road, generally located around Ice House, Union Valley, Gerie Creek and Loon Lake Reservoirs. Five faclities are located on Hwy 50 east of Pollock Pines and west of Echo Summit. Approximately 62 toilet compartments will be pumped on an as needed basis. Facilities are located in recreation facilities (campgrounds, day use ares, etc.) and generally in close proximity to each other. Estimated start work date is May 16, 2005. This is a base year plus 3 (three) year option contract. Contract time approximately 137 days. Estimated Solicitation issue date April 5, 2005.
