Description

The National Park Service is soliciting quotes for the installation of metal roofs on 3 buildings located on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Milepost 245.5, Bluffs Maintenance Area, Laurel springs (Allegheny County), North Carolina. the solicitation will be available on or about April 6, 2005 at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of solicitation. Offerors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The work includes removal and disposal of existing asphalt shingles on two buildings and asbestos cement shingles on one building, and roofing material; replacement of damaged and deteriorated wood roof supports and decking; installation of new standing seam metal roofing, vent colars, and continuous roof vents; and site restoration. The NAICS code for this project is 238190 and the small business size standard is $12.0 million. In accordance with FAR subpart 36.204, the price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Prospective offerors must register on the Central Contractor Registration website at http://www.ccr.gov in order to receive awards from federal agencies, as well as the Nationable Business Center website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
