- The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for a contractor to furnish five (5) new and unused loader slot spherical bearings. Bearings shall be greaseless with keyway entire width of ball. Greaseless liner shall be Kamatics Ka ron V, Tenmat Feroform T814 or Oiles 500 SP only. Solicitation W912P8-05-T-0037 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This requirement is being procured as a firm fixed price contract under FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The applicabl e Standard Industrial Code is 3562; the NAICS code is 333613. This solicitation is issued as unrestricted. Copy of the s olicitation and drawing will be available on our website www.mvn.usace.army.mil. Request for this solicitation shall be in writing, stating the solicitation number, complete company name, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number and facs imile number. No telephone requests will be accepted. Quotes are due on April 6, 2005, at 12:00 noon. NOTE: Contractor must be registered with Central Contractor Registration to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. Informat ion on registration may be obtained by calling 1-800-334-3414 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Registering may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registeri ng immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
