Description
The Portland VA Medical Center located at 3710 SW US Veterans Hospital Rd., Portland, Oregon, 97239 is interested in identifying possible copier solutions to replace approximately ten (10) high-use machines. The preferred solution will provide multiple-use (copy, scan, fax) digital machines with network capability. The machines will be placed in multiple-user, high-use areas of the hospital. The current copier types and usages are as follows: All models are Canon copiers. Copies are stated based on average monthly usage. 1. Model C210S, 1,347 copies; 2. Model C400S, 12,294 copies; 3. Model C400S, 7,724 copies; 4. Model C400S, 16,764 copies; 5. Model C400S, 12,826 copies; 6. Model C400S, 20,129 copies; 7. Model C400S, 46,546 copies; 8. Model C500Y, 28,488 copies; 9. Model C6030, 11,585 copies; 10. Model C6551, 6,198 copies. In order to assist interested parties with formulating potential solutions, a site-survey will be held on April 20, 2005 at 10:00 AM Pacific Time Zone. The site-survey will be held at the Portland VA Medical Center, 3710 SW US Veterans Hospital Rd., Portland, OR 97239. This site-survey will begin in Bldg. T-51, Room 108a, and will conclude with a tour of the current machine locations. Due to space and parking limitations, each company will be limited to a maximum of two (2) participants. Participants must notify the contracting officer with the names of those attending no later than April 14, 2005 at 3:00 PM Pacific Time Zone. Be advised that this site-survey is for planning purposes only, and this is currently an un-funded requirement. Funds may or may not become available to implement possible solutions proposed. The NAICS code for this announcement is 532420. The size standard is $5,000,000.00. Interested firms are invited to submit clear and convincing technical data substantiating their ability to meet this need. This is not a request for proposal and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Prospective sources should submit the required data by Close of Business May 10, 2005. All questions must be addressed in writing to the Contracting Officer by e-mail (above) or faxed to 360-905-1797. Questions will not be accepted or answered by telephone. Please submit the following information with your response to this Sources Sought Synopsis: 1. Business Size: Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone Small Business, Small Business or Large Business. 2. Contract: State whether services can be obtained open market or under an existing Government Wide Agency Contract (i.e. GSA, VA, etc). If so, please include the contract number. 3. All literature pertaining to the equipment proposed. 4. Lease vs. Purchase Options: State whether equipment/ service can be obtained on short-term lease (12 months or less), long-term lease (12 months to 48 months), or purchase only.
