- Description
- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), has a requirement to provide routine and emergency maintenance/repair of the NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) system within the State of South Dakota. The contract will consist of a base period of twelve months and four (4) twelve (12)-month option periods. The base period will be for the period of October 1, 2005 thru September 30, 2006. The NWS system is a broadcasting network consisting of transmission lines, transmitters, and antennas located at nineteen (19) sites within the State of South Dakota. The contractor will be required to provide maintenance services as needed, vault and tower space, control links, utilities, tools and test equipment, transportation and per diem to maintain the NWR System. The applicable NAICS code is 811213. All interested parties must request a copy of Request for Bid (RFB) WC133W-05-RB-1031PY in writing. Requests may be faxed to (816) 426-7530. The Central Region, Acquisition Management Division (AMD), requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
