- Description
- The Contractor shall layout, size, install and test the fire protection system modifications for the Thomas F. Eagleton Federal Building. The major items of the scope of work include, but are not limited to the following: 1. Provide/install or reinstall existing sprinkler system pressure reducing isolation valves. 2. Provide/install or reinstall existing pressure reducing hose station angle valves. 3. Bench flow test all new and reinstalled valves, prior to installation. 4. Provide new or reinstall existing valve tamper switches on all new and reinstalled sprinkler system pressure reducing isolation valves. 5. Modify the elevator machine room sprinkler valve stations noted in these documents. 6. Reset and test high pressure zone pressure relief valve. 7. Reset pressure maintenance and fire pump on/off pressures. 8. Perform testing/calibration of all new and modified components of the fire protection system. This is a negotiated procurement set-aside for small business concerns. NAICS is 922160 with size standard of $14 million. The solicitation will be available o/a March 30, 2005; the actual date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation.
