- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number Q8216050010. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-27. The North American Industrial Classification System code is 454319 and the business size standard is $6 million. The proposed Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is set aside for small business. The solicitation is for diesel and gasoline. List of Contract Line Items 01 #2 diesel, winterized, low sulfur, red. Minimum order is 5000 gallons. Maximum order is 25,000 gallons. Tank Narrative: Above ground and below ground storage tanks, 10,000 gallon capacity UST and 2000 gallon capacity AST. 02 - Unleaded gasoline. Minimum order is 5000 gallons. Maximum order is 15,000 gallons. Tank Narrative: Above ground storage tank, 7000 gallon capacity. Requirements for Line Items Place of Delivery: North Rim Fueling Station, Grand Canyon National Park, Grand Canyon, Arizona. Method of Delivery: Tank truck with pump and meter. Metered delivery tickets are required. Delivery Hours are 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mountain Standard Time. Delivery Requirements are 5 calendar days after receipt of order (ARO) or sooner. Delivered Quantity will be determined by meter on delivery truck, dip stick or Veeder Root system. Individual orders will normally be between 5000 and 8000 gallons per line item. Above ground storage, delivery truck must be equipped to pump. High Collar Unit Price shall include delivery and applicable taxes. Quotes must be submitted in price per gallon only. Contractor shall provide lower pricing as market conditions allow. Technical question should be directed to Jim Boucher @ 928-638-7866. Quoters may submit quotes for each line item as follows: 0001: #2 diesel - price per gallon $___________. 0002: Unleaded gasoline - price per gallon $____________. The Government may award more than one firm fixed price contract without discussions resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Quoter must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with quote. The Government will then assess each quoter's price, to determine reasonableness. The clause FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clause FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. FAR 52-204-7, Registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database is a requirement for award. Go to www.ccr.gov to register.
