- Description
- The Government intends to award an interim contract on a sole source basis to Main Building Maintenance, Inc. 1017 N. Main, Suite 200, San Antonio Texas, under 10 USC 23.4 (1) Only One Responsible Source. The proposed contractor is the only known re sponsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements within the required timeframes. The contractor will provide all management, supervision, labor, training, transportation, and materials necessary to provide hospital house keeping services at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, El Paso TX and the clinics at White Sand Missile Range, NM in accordance with JCAHO, OSHA and MEDCOM standards and regulations for a period of performance of 3 months through 30 June 2005 plus one 3 -month option. Anticipated award date is April 1, 2005. This is not a request for quotation and no solicitation is available. Firms believing they can provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to t he Contracting Officer within 15 days from the date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
