- Notice of Intent by the Government to place an order with Ziegler Power/Caterpillar Systems, Bloomington, MN for a monitoring system and extended warranty to cover generator procured through Ziegler Power/Caterpillar Systems. This requirement is for a 10 year warranty covering 100% parts and labor. A warranty can only be provided by the original manufacturer as a guarantee of their product. The PointGuard monitoring system is a service provided exclusively to Caterpillar customers to monitor Caterp illar power system 24/7/365. This system and service is exclusive to Caterpillar customers and provides an additional measure of security to ensure the start-up and operation of our base generator to ensure the start-up and operation during peak loading. The proposed acquisition is above $25K and any order issued will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13. The proposed acquisition is unrestricted regarding business size and any potential source which feels they can meet the stated requirements must notify this office, in writing, at the address shown below. If, after 10 days of publication of this notice, no substantive written documentation is received in this office, an order will be placed wi th Ziegler Power/Caterpillar Systems.
