- ACA, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Lewis, Washington is soliciting proposals for Courier Services. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, parts and other items and services necessary to perform courier services at both Fort Lewis, Washington and McChord Air Force Base, Washington. Services shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications of the solicitation. This solicitation will result in a firm fixed-price contract. The period of performan ce is 01 June 2005 through 31 May 2006, plus four one-year option periods. This procurement is set-aside for small business. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is W911S8-05-R-0026. The applicable NAICS code is 492110 and the small business size standar d is 1500 employees. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. All requests for the solicitation must be emailed to mark.a.erickson@lewis.army.mil, along with the requesting vendors Dun & Bradstreet number and CAGE Code. When issued, the solicitation will be available only by downloading from our web site at http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc under Solicitations, after the estimated date of release. The estimated issue date is 08 April 2005 and the anticipated closing date is 09 May 2005. After release of the solicitation a preproposal conference is scheduled for 21 April 2005 at 10:00:00 AM. Prospective offerors are urged to attend and submit any questions they may have in advance in writing to Mark Erickson at the following email: mark. a.erickson@lewis.army.mil. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered.
