- Description
- The intent of this solicitation is to secure Pocket Gopher Control Services for reforestation units and seed orchards on the Hood River and Barlow Ranger Districts (RD), according to contract requirements. All units shall include a 100-foot buffer around the unit to be treated using baits or traps as specified. This is a Performance-based Service Contract with a required score of at least 75-percent for each sub-item of successful end results. Scores are determined by government open-hole inspection. Only one rework will be allowed to bring scores above 75-percent. No payment will be made for that unit if score is less than 75-percent. Start work date for Gopher Trapping of approximately 637 acres shall begin May 16, 2005, on the Hood River RD; Gopher Baiting of 778 acres shall begin June 1, 2005, on the Barlow RD. July 15th shall be the last allowable day for baiting and trapping. Contract time on any or all bid items may run concurrently.
