Description
THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED ON THIS WEB SITE (FedBizOpps) FOR REVIEWING AND PRINTING IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS. The project consists of removal actions to reclaim abandoned mines consisting of building an acid mine drainage infiltration systems at the Lower Advance adit, capping the 2 Lovestedt Tailings impoundments, with optional award items to stabilize the Zaca Tailings and reclamation of the Curtz, Deadman and Loope Cyn mines. NAICA code: 237990. Size Standard: $28.5 Million. The project is located on the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, Alpine County, California. From Markleeville, California, proceed 4 miles southeast on Hwy. 4 to the intersection with Hwy 89. Turn left on Hwy 89 (Monitor Pass Hwy) and proceed 1.7 miles to the Lower Advance Adit located adjacent to the road. Estimated price range: between $250,000 and $500,000. Estimated start date is 7/18/05 with 120 calendar days for completion. This proposed procurement is not a small business set aside.
