- USDA Forest Service, North Central Research Station requires: Web and outreach production services in developing content for a 20-50 page web site. Includes: home page for scientists, pages with information on specific projects or lines of research grouped in ways that make finding the right information quick, easy and fun for North Central Research Station?s ?Social and Economic Dimensions of Ecosystem Management? Research Unit. Work with Forest Service Representatives to develop a site map for a new unit website. The unit is updating its web page and other outreach materials. Our current web page is minimally descriptive; the new page will be a more complete description of our work as well as a source of publications and other products, in keeping with North Central?s ?knowledge store? capacity on its web page. Products may include publications, datasets, manager?s notes, or other short summaries and synthesis of research work unit findings. The Forest Service has a standard web design, but flexibility in content and organization within the web template. The current web page can be viewed at: http://ncrs.fs.fed.us/4803/ . Newer Station research work unit websites that are examples of what we would like to produce include: http://ncrs.fs.fed.us/4902/, http://ncrs.fs.fed.us/4502/. This solicitation is for a Performance Based Service Contract. The solicitation document in its entirety will be available on line at http://www.fedbizopps.gov under the above solicitation number approximately 03/15/2005.
