- This is a pre-solicitation notice for Survival Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) training at Fairchild Air Force Base, WA. Services include, but are not limited to, Survival and Evasion Academics, Field Training, Resistance Training Academics, Resistance Training Laboratory, and administrative support services. The contractor shall provide all personnel required to conduct, support, and supplement SERE training at Fairchild AFB, the Survival School Remote Training Sites, or at other training locations located in WA, OR, or ID. This acquisition will be solicited as a Request For Proposal, source selection to be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15. A Firm Fixed Price,Requirement type contract will result from this solicitation. Estimated Request for Proposal Issue Date: 1 April 2005. Estimated Proposal Closing Date: 4 May 2005. This will be an electronic solicitation release. There is a site visit estimated for 13 April 2005 at Fairchild AFB, WA. No hard copies will be mailed. Solicitation, amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be posted to FedBizOpps (http://www.eps.gov). It is the responsibility of each offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to current information. The performance period will be a starting with a twelve-month base year (1 Oct 05 through 30 Sep 06) with nine twelve-month option periods. This acquisition is set-a-side for small business. In order to be eligible for award, registration in the Central Contractor Registration database is required. To register, please go to http://www.ccr.gov. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this solicitation is section 611699. The small business size standard is $6 million.
