Description

The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) intends to modify Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract HQ0006-03-D-0043 with Alaska Aerospace Development Corporation, Anchorage, AK, to increase the total contract ceiling amount. The original contract provides spaceport facilities, range services, communications and/or equipment as required to support Ballistic Missile Defense System vehicle launches at the Kodiak Launch Complex in Kodiak, Alaska. The current period of performance is from 1 September 2003 through 31 August 2008. Due to an increase in the complexity of the data requirements and number of annual target launches, the proposed contract modification is required to cover the increased costs of mission support and operation and sustainment of the Kodiak Launch Complex, as specified in the original statement of work.
