- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make single award for the provision of General Surgical Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Oxford, Wisconsin. The successful contractor shall provide inpatient/outpatient hospital and physician services. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods, if exercised. The estimated quantities for the base period and option years are as follows: Base Year (Date of award through 12 months from Date of Award): Inpatient Days - Guaranteed Minimum 1 day/ Estimated Maximum 12 days and Outpatient Visits - Guaranteed Minimum 3 visits/Estimated Maximum 48 visits. Option Year 1 (13 months through 24 months from Date of Award): Inpatient Days - Guaranteed Minimum 1 day/ Estimated Maximum 12 days and Outpatient Visits - Guaranteed Minimum 3 visits/Estimated Maximum 48 visits. Option Year 2 (25 months through 36 months from Date of Award): Inpatient Days- Guaranteed Minimum 1 day/ Estimated Maximum 12 days and Outpatient Visits - Guaranteed Minimum 3 visits/Estimated Maximum 48 visits. Option Year 3 (37 months through 48 months from Date of Award): Inpatient Days - Guaranteed Minimum 1 day/ Estimated Maximum 12 days and Outpatient Visits - Guaranteed Minimum 3 visits/Estimated Maximum 48 visits. Option Year 4 (49 months through 60 months from Date of Award): Inpatient Days - Guaranteed Minimum 1 day/ Estimated Maximum 12 days and Outpatient Visits - Guaranteed Minimum 3 visits/Estimated Maximum 48 visits. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed requirements. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. The solicitation will be made available on or about April 4, 2005, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov.
