- NAICS Code: 334220 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Radiation and Indoor Air (ORIA), National Air & Radiation Environmental Laboratory (R&IE) in Las Vegas, NV intends to award a Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quote RFQ-DC-05-01497 incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 01-27. This is a total small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. The Government intends to award a Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible small business whose offer, conforming to the solicitation provisions, will be the most advantageous to the Government at the lowest price technically acceptable. The Government reserves the right to award on an all-or-none basis. Under this Purchase Order, the Contractor shall provide the following items FOB Destination at R&IE in Las Vegas, NV. Description ITEM 001 (Quantity 10) Mitsubishi Products : Model ST211 Mobile LandSat Satellite Telephone (telephones to be portable), with transceiver unit; magnetic mount dome; antenna with cable beam steering unit telephone handset; power cable, mounting hardware; PTT microphone and external speaker. ITEM 002 (Quantity 10) Mitsubishi MSAT Pelican case, with power supply and labor to install Mitsubishi ST211. ITEM 003 (Quantity 2) Mitsubishi ST211 Mobile LandSat Satellite Telephone (telephones to be vehicle mounted), with transceiver unit, magnetic mount dome, antenna with 18" of cable, beam steering unit, telephone handset, power cable, mounting hardware PTT microphone external speaker and one year warranty.
