- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13; as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00167-05-Q-5024 applies and is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is being solicited on a sole-source basis to Reel-O-Matic by Reel-Neat Systems, Incorporated. Oklahoma City, OK. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Reel-O-Matic MODEL RR10 is required to allow the government to maintain compatibility with existing equipment. By maintaining compatibility, the government! will have immediate access to replacement repair parts in the case of equipment breakdowns; allow a reduced parts inventory; and reduce maintenance costs. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-27 as well as DCN 20041215. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333999 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 ? 2EA ? REEL-O-MATIC, MODEL RR10 RE-REEVING MACHINE FOR REELS UP TO 96" DIAMETER; UP TO 60" WIDE; UP TO 10,000LBS. Delivery FOB Destination and required 6 weeks ARO. Delivery is required to NSWCCD, 980 Principio Road, Perryville, MD; 21903. Final inspection will be at destination. Award will be based on price and technical acceptability. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All responsible sources may subm! it a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All offerors MUST provide a valid Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) number and Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number. All offerors MUST provide a copy of current corresponding published price list, including the title page and effective date.
