- Description
- Regular Overhaul (ROH), with dry docking, for the USNS PECOS (T-AO 197) [Length, 677 ft. 6 in.; Breadth, 97 ft. 6 in.; Full Load WL, 36 ft. 0 in. in ABL; Gross Tonnage, 20,706 TONS; Maximum Displacement, 42,382 TONS]. The period of performance for this requirement is to start no earlier than 08 June 2005 and end no later than 27 July 2005. The area of consideration is CONUS West Coast. This is an unrestricted procurement for MSRA holders. The major work items for this repair availability are: 1) Drydocking and undocking; 2) Underwater hull preservation; 3) Freeboard preservation; 4) Replace outer stern tube seals; 5) Replace damaged shell plate, port quarter; 6) Special survey, close up all tanks and voids. Only written (regular mail or Fed-Ex) requests will be accepted. The estimated issue date for this solicitation is 08 February 2005.
