- Description
- The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing two (2) low drop grade control structures, one (1) rock chute grade control structure, and one (1) riser pipe grade control structure in Carroll County, Missi ssippi. Principal features of the work include clearing and grubbing, excavation, fill, backfill, stone protection, control of water, concrete grout for stone protection, miscellaneous items, corrugated metal pipe, erosion control, lime treatment, welding , concrete work, using the Government furnished software (RMS) and providing all labor and equipment necessary for electronic exchange of information and management of the contract (See Section 01312 QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM), complying with all requirements of Section 01452 MILESTONE COMPLIANCE REVIEW PROCEDURE (MCRP), storm water pollution prevention, and environmental protection. All units of measure are metric. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office (VCCO) Web Page at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract/. Compact discs and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders should check the VCCO Web Page often for new solicitat ions and/or changes (AMENDMENTS) to existing ones.
