- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W9124V-05-T-0008 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The NAICS code is 339999 and the size standard is less than 500 Employees. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect though Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-26, Effective 19 JAN 2005 & Class Deviation 2005-o0001. The proposed contract is 100 percent set aside for small business concerns. The acquisition is a firm fixed priced purchase order in support of the Montana Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention Office (MTARNG R&R). MTARNG R&R requires a cold-air inflatable tent for use at recruiting events across Montana. The items intended for purchase: TE NT, COLD-AIR INFLATABLE PAVILION TYPE, NYLON CONSTRUCTION, MIMIMUM OF 30-FOOT DIAMETER, MINIMUM 12-FOOT CENTER HEIGTH; (4) SOLID COLOR DOORS TO FIT OPENINGS; DIGITAL GRAPHICS (PROVIDED BY CUSTOMER) INCORPORATED ON TENT COVER; 100 12 GAUGE TRI-TAP EXTENSIO N CORD; 110-VOLT 1HP (MIMIMUM) HIGH VOLUME INFLATION FAN; TETHER LINES; STEEL GROUND STAKES WITH ABILITY TO ATTACH TO TETHERS AND TENT (WITH STORAGE POUCH); HEAVY-DUTY STORAGE TARP/BAG; PATCH REPAIR KIT; OWNERS MANUAL; WARRANTY TO BE A MINIMUM 2-YEAR LIMIT ED AGAINST DEFECTS IN MANUFACTURING AND MATERIALS. TENT MUST BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND PROLONGED (5 DAYS/24HRS A DAY) USE WITHOUT DEFLATING. For descriptive Purposes, the equipment shall be brand name or equal to Inflatable Images products. If the offeror is quoting an equal item, please provide technical specification and warranty information. The provision of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (May 2004) applies to this RFQ. 52.212-3, the clause needs to be complete d and a signed copy of this provision shall be submitted with any offer. 52.212-2, Evaluation, Commercial Items (Jan 1999). The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the sol icitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price, Past Performance and Technical Capability. Past performance and technical capability, when combined, are significantly more important when compared to price or cost. Vendors are requested to submit past performance information to include persons of contact on their last two contracts for similar products.
