- In accordance with FAR 5.201 this is a notice of proposed contract action. The Government intends to definitize ?Options V- IX? of contract F34601-01-C-0026. This notification is to advise of subcontracting opportunities available under contract F34601-01-C-0026 with the prime contractor The Boeing Company Cage Code: 82918, Address: 3801 South Oliver Street, Wichita, KS 67210. The contract provides for sustaining Engineering Services for the KC-135 Weapon system. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described awarded contract make contact with the firm listed above. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from interested parties during the option phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
