- Solicitation # I179005A021 as well as any issued amendments will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website on March 21, 2005. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This contract is to provide handicap accessible shuttle bus services for the purpose of transporting visitors between the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site, Top Cottage (FDR's retreat), Val-Kill, and occasionally to the Poughkeepsie Train Station. The services of this contract will be provided between May 1, 2005 and October 31, 2005. NAICS 485999, All other transit and ground transportation. This solicitation is open to all size businesses. Estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000 for base bid plus all options. A pre-bid site visit will be held March 30, 2005 at 10 a.m., meet at the Henry A. Wallace Visitor and Education Center, at Roosevelt-Vanderbilt National Historic Site, 4097 Albany Post Road, Hyde Park , NY. Hard copy bid documents only shall be accepted for this solicitation (no faxed or electronic bid documents will be accepted). Bids must be clearly marked Attention Contracting Officer and received at Saratoga National Historical Park, 648 Rte. 32, Stillwater, NY 12170 by 2:00 PM on April 19, 2005 local prevailing time. A complete bid package shall include three (3) copies of completed SF 33, Solicitation, Offer, and Award, all with original signatures; three (3) copies of bid schedule; one completed section K, Representations and Certifications and one SF 24, Bid Bond. Award shall be based on total of base plus option years; award will be made for base year only. Option years may be exercised as funding is authorized. Award will be made to the responsive and responsible offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price related factors included in the solicitation.
