Description: The U. S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) requires standardized performance measurements of the laboratory device referred to as the Phase Conjugate - Master Oscillator Power Amplifier (PC-MOPA). The PC-MOPA was developed under Cont ract DASG60-03-C-0018 by Raytheon Company. This effort is being executed by USASMDC as part of the Joint High Power solid State Laser (J-HPSSL) Program with the High Energy Laser Joint Technology Office (HEL JTO) and the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFR L). The Government intends to award this effort to Raytheon Company as a modification to existing Contract DASG60-03-C-0018. The period of performance is nine (9) months. Interested persons other than the source cited above may identify their interest a nd capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals to the U. S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, P. O. Box 1500, Huntsville, AL 35807-3801, ATTN: SMDC-CM-AK/D. Teague. This notice of intent is not a request for proposal from any sour ce other than that cited; however, all proposals received will be considered by the Government.
